Infrastructure

Between Southwest Florida International Airport and our pivotal position on Interstate 75, you can quickly get from here to anywhere around the world and back again.

Lee County's new and expanding transportation networks make us a true international hub. The Interstate 75 corridor runs straight through the county, with Tampa to the north and Miami to the east. A $438-million expansion of Southwest Florida International Airport included a new midfield terminal – and both it and Page Field (general aviation airport) are designated as Foreign Trade Zones.

CenturyLink Corporation and Level 3 Communications both offer SONET ring service, with a survivable fiber-optic system that prevents phone service interruptions. Connections are monitored 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and both carriers provide Lee County businesses a comprehensive range of voice- data- and video-communication solutions.
