Demographic Information
Over the past decade the Cape Coral-Fort Myers has been one of the fastest-growing metro areas in the United States – and that trend looks to continue. Lee County’s population grew by more than 50% between 2000 and 2010 and is now dominated by working-age people. In fact, the county’s 18-24 year old population – those available to enter the workforce – is growing about twice as fast as that of Florida and many times faster than the United States.
We encourage you to download the Demographic Profile below. It contains information from both the Lee County Fact Book and the Statistical Digest and is designed to provide you with a general overview of the county.
