FLORIDA READY TO WORK
Florida Ready to Work is a free, new employee credentialing program, that tests and scores job skills and work habits. Proven to identify employees with most potential, the program helps take the guesswork out of hiring, saving businesses time and money. The centerpiece of the program is the Florida Ready to Work Credential, a career readiness certificate – that certifies that a Florida student/jobseeker has the fundamental job skills necessary to succeed in today’s rapidly changing and competitive economy.

HODGES UNIVERSITY
The Office of Career Development of Hodges University offers an online job board system, College Central Network, as part of its career services. The site is free for employers to use and reaches both students and alumni. The system allows you to post and track jobs, as well as search and contact students/alumni who have posted their resumes.

WORKFORCE FLORIDA
Workforce Florida is the primary administrator of Florida’s workforce incentive programs. Florida offers several programs to help employers with the training costs. The incentives are used to encourage an employer to locate, expand, upgrade the skills of the workforce, or train entry-level employees. The incentives can be accessed through the Fort Myers Regional Partnership, Lee County’s Economic Development Office.

EMPLOYEE AND JOB INTERNET SITES
There are dozens of Internet sites available where employers can post job vacancies, and people can post resumes. Most services are available for a nominal fee and are valuable as another source for finding employees or finding a job. Samples of the employment sites available on the web are listed below.
